NBN Speed Upgrades Are Here β What It Means for Small Businesses
Jul 31, 2025π£ NBN Speed Upgrades Are Here – What It Means for Your Business
As of September 2025, NBN Co is rolling out significant speed upgrades across Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) and Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) connections.
At Tech Management, we’re ready to help small businesses take full advantage of these improvements — with tailored advice, no call center runarounds, and expert installation support.
π What’s Changing?
According to NBN Co’s official announcement:
β
The three highest residential wholesale plans —
100/20, 250/25, and 1000/50 Mbps —
are all being accelerated for download and upload speeds.
β These changes are rolling out nationwide in September 2025, specifically impacting FTTP and HFC customers.
β No new hardware needed — but not all providers will offer the faster versions.
“We want to help deliver more value for homes and families across the country.”
— NBN Co, Accelerate Great
